Cleanable Adapter
Front shell for LC connector
The front shell enables LC optical connector, which ferrule diameter is different from FC optical connector, to connect the FC optical connector mounted on existing rear shell.
The front shell have the same features as the existing Cleanable Adapter as shown below.
The front shell can be mated/unmated in a single operation with its lock lever.
By unmating the front shell from the rear shell, the ferrule tip of the optical connector that inside the equipment is exposed and the end of the ferrule to be easily cleaned from outside the equipment, which had been tough for the conventional adapters.
Cleanable adapter conforms to FC, SC, DIN, DIA, ST and LC optical connectors with a replacement of front shell.
